What’s changing?
We’ve upgraded how Spapilot checks and sets values in your spa control box. In this first phase, we’re making sure water temperature is measured accurately at regular intervals—specifically, every 3 hours for about 2 minutes. This helps keep your spa at a steady temperature all day and ensures constant monitoring.
 
What should you expect?
Over the next days, we’ll be monitoring that filtration and temperature readings are working correctly. For now, you might notice that the time shown on your devices and your spa isn’t always perfectly in sync. This isn’t a fault—phase 2 will address time synchronization between Spapilot, Balboa, and your mobile app.
 
What’s next?
  • Phase 2: We’ll release an update to fully synchronize time across all devices.
  • Phase 3: We’ll add a new control feature that checks and resets Balboa’s settings according to Spapilot, up to 8 times initially. This will prevent Spapilot and Balboa from getting out of sync—an issue some users have experienced.
No action is needed from you right now.
If you notice small timing differences between your app and spa, don’t worry—this is expected and will be fixed in the next steps. Our main goal is to ensure accurate, reliable control at every stage.
