Why is my spa not heating right now, even though the electricity price is low?
A low electricity price alone is not enough for Spapilot to start heating.
In Planner Basic:
Spapilot checks two things every hour:
- Is the current price at or below your Max Price?
- Is the water below your temperature setting, taking Heating Mode into account?
If the water is still warm enough, Planner Basic will not heat, even if the price is low.

SmartHeat Engine™ looks at your whole plan:
- It may already have chosen other hours that are cheaper or better placed before your bath time.
- It may calculate that you will still reach your target temperature without heating right now.
Planner Dynamic does not heat just because the price is low – it heats when it is needed for your plan.
