Why does Planner Basic heat more often than Planner Dynamic?
Planner Basic and Planner Dynamic can both reach the same target temperature, but they decide very differently when to heat.
Planner Basic heats whenever it can:

- the electricity price is at or below your Max Price, and
- the water is below your temperature setting (with Heating Mode tolerance).
It does not care about when you will use the spa. If the conditions are met, it heats – every time.
Planner Dynamic heats only when it needs to:

- it knows your bath times,
- it calculates how many hours are required,
- and it selects only those hours, choosing the cheapest ones.
Because Dynamic is selective and plans ahead, it will often run fewer hours than Basic, even with the same target temperature.
